Web based Project Management Tools
Ok, in the last couple of days this has come up a few times so here is a list of web based project management tools.
1) Basecamp http://www.basecamphq.com/
2) Liquid Planner http://www.liquidplanner.com/ - I played with this one quite a bit in it’s Beta stages, good app.
3) Teamwork PM http://www.teamworkpm.net/ - I just started playing with this one yesterday. Easy to setup and use. Nice features.
4) DeskAway http://deskaway.com/tour/index.php - Just found out about this one, going to play with it some today I think.
5) Teamwork http://www.twproject.com/ - Found this one by accident and no idea if it’s any good
6) Clarity http://www.myclarity.com/project-portfolio-management-535.html - This is the software used at Constellation, my previous employer. I know it well. It’s a good app. There is a free version you can download if you want to use it instead of MS Project. This is an enterprise application and is good for resource management, project management and reporting. (This one is NOT web based)
